Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Reach the Entebbe International Airport where you are welcomed by a driver guide who transfers you to check-in lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Protea Hotel Entebbe.
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Early morning breakfast then transfer to the stunning Murchison Falls National Park located in the North Western part of Uganda. You shall transfer for a period of 4 to 5 hours depending on the traffic jam watching green vegetation terrain, bird species and a brief stoop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you trek and watch Rhinos in their natural forest vegetation habitat.
After being in the presence of the Rhinos, you shall transfer back to the headquarters for your trekking certificate. You shall continue to the vast Murchison Falls National Park where you enjoy an en-route Game Drive till you reach the lodge to check-in for Dinner and Overnight. Pakuba Safari Lodge.
Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Victoria Nile
Have delicious morning breakfast then proceed on Game Drive in the park. You shall reach the park and traverse from one point to another watching various wildlife animals wandering around their natural vegetation habitat.
The wildlife animals you watch include; lions, leopards, elephants, and buffaloes). Other common animals include giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, Uganda kobs, warthogs etc. At mid day break off for lunch then transfer on a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls.
You shall reach here then at 2:30 pm cruise along the Victoria Nile watching many wildlife animals along the banks trying to break thirst, crocodiles and hippos beneath the waters. After the cruise, you shall return to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Pakuba Safari Lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Early morning breakfast then embark on transfer to the vast green Kibale Forest National Park located some kilometers off the park. You transfer for a period of 5 to 6 hours watching green terrain vegetation, bird species as well as lunch en-route. After a while, you reach the park and check-in lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Kibale Forest Camp.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking at Kibale Forest National Park
Today have breakfast then embark on transfer to the park headquarters for precise briefing on conduct around the Chimpanzees. On reaching here, you are welcomed by a park ranger who welcomes you then informs you about the National Park, Chimpanzee Tracking and safari adventures you can do then later allocate you into groups of 8 with lead rangers who transfer you to the starting points where you leave from and enter the green forest to track the Chimpanzees following varying trails in the forest for a period of 2 to 4 hours depending where the chimpanzees are located.
After a while you meet the chimpanzees and stay in their presence taking many photos to keep. After tracking the chimpanzees, you shall return back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kibale Forest Camp.
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Delicious breakfast then embark on transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park located a few kilometers off the park requiring you to drive for a period of 4 to 5 hours watching the green terrain, Rwenzori Mountains at a distance till you reach the park. You shall reach the park then break off for lunch and later continue to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mweya Safari Lodge.
Day 7: Game Drive and Boat Cruise Kazinga Channel
Get up early have breakfast then transfer to the park to enjoy a Game Drive along the varying tracks. You shall transfer in a 4×4 wheel vehicle from one point to another watching various wildlife animals wander around their natural vegetation habitat.
The wildlife animals you watch include; Elephants, buffaloes, hippos, Uganda kobs, and waterbucks, Predators: Lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, and side-striped jackals etc. After the Game Drive at mid day, break off for lunch then in the afternoon, proceed to enjoy an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.
On reaching here, you shall get on the boat and cruise along the channel watching various wildlife animals along the shores, schools of hippo and crocodiles beneath the waters an adventure so exceptional. After the Boat Cruise, you shall return back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mweya Safari Lodge.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park (Ruhija)
Wake up early have breakfast then embark on transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park located a few hours from the park requiring you to transfer for a period of 5 to 6 hours via the popular Ishasha sector. When you reach the park, proceed to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Ruhija Gorilla Safari Lodge.
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park
Today you get to trek and meet the Mountain Gorillas. Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the park headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas. You shall reach here and get welcomed by a park range guide who briefs you about Gorilla Trekking, Bwindi Forest National Park and the various activities you can do.
After the briefing session, he shall locate you into groups of 8 with lead ranger guides who transfer you along various trails in the park. Transfer 3 to 5 hours depending on the reported location of the Gorillas then after a while, you shall meet them and stay in their presence for an hour talking many photos to keep. After trekking the Gorillas, you shall return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight, Ruhija Gorilla Safari Lodge.
Day 10: Transfer to Kigali
Morning breakfast the embark on journey to Kigali. This takes you a period of 2 to 3 hours and when you reach here, go on precise city tour visiting the Genocide memorials, National Museums. Lunch is en-route. After your visits to these historical places (about the Rwanda Genocide in which many Rwandans lost their dear lives) you shall proceed to check-in hotel/ lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 11: Transfer to Akagera National Park
You shall have breakfast in the morning then continue on journey to the Akagera National Park located a few kilometers off the busy City of Kigali. Travel for 2 to 3 hours till you reach the famous Akagera National Park known to offer unforgettable wildlife safaris to all travelers that visit Rwanda on holiday vacation.
When you reach the park enjoy a precise en-route Game Drive watching wildlfie animals then later, continue to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Akagera Game Lodge.
Day 12: Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Akagera
Wake up early in the morning have breakfast then transfer with packed lunch to enjoy a Game Drive in the park traversing from one point to another. With park ranger guides informing you about the park, wildlife animals, you watch animals like elephants, buffalos, giraffe, zebras, leopards, hyenas, lions. wandering around their natural vegetation habitat.
Take many photos then later break off for lunch. After lunch, continue to Lake Ihema to enjoy a boat cruise for 3 hours watching wildlife animals like hippos, crocodiles. After the cruise, return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Akagera Game Lodge.
Day 13: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Enjoy breakfast in the morning then embark on transfer to the vast prominent Nyungwe Forest National Park. You shall transfer for a period of 6 to 7 hours via green terrain vegetation, rolling hills.
You shall have lunch en-route then after a while, reach the Park and check-in lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Nyungwe Hill Top View Hotel.
Day 14: Chimpanzee Tracking in Nyungwe Forest
Early morning breakfast then transfer to the park headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the Chimpanzees.
On reaching here, you shall be welcomed by park ranger guides who take you through briefing about Chimpanzee Tracking, Chimpanzees and Nyungwe Forest then later allocate you into groups of 8 with lead park ranger guides who transfer you to the starting points where you leave from to enter the green forest to track the chimpanzees.
Follow varying trails in the forest from one point to another in a period of 2 to 4 hours then after a while, you shall meet the chimpanzees and stay in their presence for an hour taking many photos to keep. Day 15: Canopy Walk in Nyungwe Forest
Early morning breakfast then proceed to the park to enjoy a canopy walk along the walkway which is 6o meters above the ground at the top of the Mahogany gigantic Trees of Nyungwe. You meet park ranger guides who brief you about the conduct while on the walkway then later transfer you to the starting point where you leave from to traverse to the other side.
On your adventure, you shall be able to watch many monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, as well as various plains at a distance. After the adventure, you shall return back to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Nyungwe Hill Top View Hotel.
Day 16: Transfer to Lake Kivu
Breakfast in the morning then transfer to Lake Kivu. Take a journey of 6 to 7 hours with en-route views of the green terrain, bird species as well as lunch. On reaching the Lake, continue to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Lake Kivu Serena.
Day 17: Boat Cruise on Lake Kivu – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Morning breakfast then proceed to enjoy a boat cruise along Lake Kivu as you visit the various Islands and enjoy the tranquil waters. Take many photos to keep. After the cruise, you shall transfer to Volcanoes National Park for a period of 5 to 6 hours and when you reach here, check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Five Volcanoes Lodge.
Day 18: Gorilla Trekking at Volcanoes National Park
Early Morning breakfast then transfer to the Kinigi Park headquarters for precise briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas, Reach here and get welcomed by a park ranger guide who takes you through precise briefing regarding the code o conduct in the presence of the Gorillas then after he shall locate you into groups of 8 with lead park ranger guides who lead you to the starting points.
You shall then enter the green forest vegetation to trek the Gorillas or a period of 3 to 5 hours depending on their current location following varying trails from one point to another. After a while, you shall meet the Gorillas and stay in their presence for a period of 1 hour taking many photos to keep. Day 19: Golden Monkey Trekking at Volcanoes
Today you get to trek and watch the amazing Golden Monkeys in their natural forest vegetation habitat. You shall wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Kinigi Park headquarters for short briefing on conduct in the presence of the Golden Monkeys. After precise briefing, you shall be allocated into groups of 8 with lead park rangers who transfer you to the forest to track the Golden Monkeys.
Follow varying trails from one point to another tracing the Golden Monkeys and when you meet them, watch them as they jump from one tree branch to the next. Take many photos to keep of them then after a while, return back to your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Five Volcanoes Lodge.
Day 20: Visit the Gorilla Guardian’s Village
Have early morning breakfast then transfer to the Gorilla Guardian’s Village situated a few kilometers off the park requiring you to transfer for 1 to 2 hours. You shall reach here then get welcomed by the ranger guides who introduce you to the Rwandans who perform to you their culture, customs and traditions. They shall dance for you as well as narrate stories regarding the Mountain Gorillas, Volcanoes National Park etc. After the experience, you shall return to lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Day 21: Departure to Kigali (City Tour)
Leisure breakfast then embark on departure to Kigali. Transfer for 2 to 3 hours and when you get here enjoy lunch then head to the Kigali International Airport to board flight back home.
